Aftershock Festival 2025 Wraps Another Epic Weekend in Sacramento

Record-breaking crowds, unforgettable performances, and a celebration of rock and metal music

SACRAMENTO, CA — The 2025 edition of Aftershock Festival has officially come to a close, marking another unforgettable chapter in California’s biggest rock and metal event. Held over four electric days at Discovery Park, Aftershock drew record-breaking crowds once again, uniting tens of thousands of fans for a weekend of nonstop music, energy, and community. Opening day projections estimated attendance in excess of approximately 80,000 for that single day, thanks to the spotlighting of rock bands beyond the heavier traditional bands associated with rock.

This year’s lineup delivered some of the festival’s most powerful moments yet, with Blink 182, Hatebreed, Deftones, Dream Theater, Korn, Bring Me the Horizon, Flyleaf, and Cavalera leading a stacked bill of legendary acts and rising stars. Fans were treated to jaw-dropping performances, surprise collaborations, and the signature energy that makes Aftershock one of the most anticipated music festivals in the country.

Festival producers Danny Wimmer Presents and attendees alike celebrated another successful year of music, food, and fan experiences — from local vendors and local food trucks to interactive sponsor activations and exclusive fan zones.

Many fans insist, “Aftershock has become more than a festival; it’s become a family of sorts.”  “The energy in Sacramento this weekend was unreal, 2025 has been the best year yet!” attendees said.
