San Jacinto, CA—The aroma of fresh coffee has drawn the attention of locals, who are buzzing with excitement as Dutch Bros Coffee officially opens its doors. Located at the bustling intersection of Ramona Expressway and State Street, this vibrant coffee stand brings more than just caffeine to San Jacinto.
The excitement among San Jacinto residents has been very evident. The location is ideal, with it being so close to Mt. San Jacinto Community College, making it convenient for students and faculty members to grab their favorite drinks between classes. As a student at the local college, I stopped by during opening week to check it out. The first few days were slow. However, the atmosphere was lively, and the staff were enthusiastic. While waiting for my drink, I enjoyed speaking to one of their broistas. The Broistas shared that the location hasn’t been too busy since opening. “It seems like people may not know we’re open yet,” they noted, pointing out that the Hemet location, just a short 10-minute drive away, has drawn significantly larger crowds.

Founded in 1992 by Dane and Travis Boersma in Grants Pass, Oregon, Dutch Bros Coffee has become a beloved fixture in communities across the United States. Renowned for its innovative drink menu, cheerful and welcoming service, and dedication to giving back, Dutch Bros has cultivated a loyal following that continues to grow with Dutch Bros, advertising exciting options like Dutch Coffee® and the energizing Dutch Bros Rebel™. This proprietary energy drink can be customized with vibrant flavor combinations. Customers can also get creative with 25 flavors, various milk options (including non-dairy alternatives), and unique add-ons like the famous Soft Top™, a silky-smooth foam topping. The drink menu offers something for everyone to enjoy.
Dutch Bros Coffee embraces technology to enhance customer convenience, with increased digital engagement becoming a key part of its strategy. From Restaurant Dive, “96% of the chain’s store system, including 99% of company-owned stores, offer mobile ordering. Eight percent of sales came through the channel for the period.” This innovation streamlines the ordering process and makes it easier for busy customers, like students and professionals, to grab their favorite drinks with minimal wait times. I spoke with a current college student to learn more about how mobile ordering can benefit students. Lisa Peterson said, “it eliminates having to wait and worry about being late to class, waiting for a drink.”As Dutch Bros continues to grow, integrating technology like this will likely play an important role in attracting new customers and ensuring a seamless experience at locations such as the newly opened San Jacinto store.
The anticipation is over, and all the built-up excitement is now a reality with last week’s official opening. As the store continues to grow and evolve, one thing is certain: the good vibes and energy it brings will fuel the neighborhood for years.
This ensures that the store will continue to grow and bring in more traffic and connections. So, whether you’re a die-hard fan of their Rebel energy drinks or simply curious to see what the hype is about, it will not disappoint.
