Bella Morales, Podcast manager / Digital Content Manager
Hi Everyone!
My name is Isabella Morales or Bella for short and I am currently the video editor-in-chief of The Talon Podcast ! This is my second year as a Film, Television, and Media major at MSJC and I’m looking to transfer to a 4 year after the spring semester. Excited to create some awesome content for you guys this year !”
Terrance Sylvas, Writer / Photographer
Major: Communications
Hello everyone! My name is Terrance and I'm super-duper excited and ecstatic to get this semester rolling! I am majoring in communications, and this is my second and final year at MSJC as I am looking to transfer to a university sometime next year. I'm very into movies, music, video games, and pretty much anything pop culture related. I'm hoping during my time in the Talon I can learn some very useful skills and meet many amazing people along the way!
Gianluca Canseco, VP and Managing Editor / Writer / Photographer
Hello! My name is Gianluca Canseco. I am working on transferring to (Hopefully) UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. This is my second year at MSJC and my second year as a part of the Talon Student Newspaper. I came to the Talon to improve my writing skills to become a full-time author. Maybe move to New York, who knows? I mainly write local news and, to push me out of my comfort zone, I interview a lot of staff and locals. I like to say I’m a people writer because I’m so intrigued by everyone’s stories and aspirations, so I hope this will translate well into my own books. As of right now, I live a pretty busy life. When I get the chance I like to paint, work out, and read. My favorite book is “Less Than Zero” by Bret Easton Ellis.
Fun fact: I love primates. I would’ve been an anthropologist if my love for writing wasn’t greater.
Diego Trejo, Writer / Photographer / Outreach Coordinator
Hi, my name is Diego Trejo. I am majoring in sociology, with a long-term goal of gaining my master's in urban planning. I have always had a deep passion for social, political, and cultural commentary or critique and hope to express that passion in my time at the Talon. However, in my off time, I enjoy consuming film, music, and sewing, viewing them as avenues towards self-expression.
