Eddie Landeros, Club Advisor
Hello! My name is Eddie Landeros and I am the Club Advisor for The Talon. I am also the Marketing and Media Specialist for the Career Education department here at MSJC which involves taking photos, making videos and graphics and managing social media. I was a student at MSJC from 2018 to 2020 and transferred to California State University - Fullerton and earned my BA in Communications/Advertising. I love working with Dr. Weber and our Talon members because we learn from our experiences, get creative, and have a lot of fun. Hope you join us sometime!
Terrance Sylvas, Writer / Photographer
Major: Communications
Hello everyone! My name is Terrance and I'm super-duper excited and ecstatic to get this semester rolling! I am majoring in communications, and this is my second and final year at MSJC as I am looking to transfer to a university sometime next year. I'm very into movies, music, video games, and pretty much anything pop culture related. I'm hoping during my time in the Talon I can learn some very useful skills and meet many amazing people along the way!
Junaid Khan, Writer / ICC Rep
Hello, my name is Junaid Khan but all my friends call me June. I am currently a communications major completing my last year at MSJC. I hope to build my writing skills and better inform my peers while being apart of The Talon.
Gabriel Lozano, Writer / Photographer
Hello! My name’s Gabriel Lozano and I’m a freshman here at MSJC. I am a journalism
major and love writing in my freetime. I started writing fiction when I was around 6 or 7 and continue to this day. As such, I began to get more interested in writing for an actual audience. I joined my high school newspaper club and that’s where my love for journalism truly began. I mainly write about social issues, pop culture, and occasionally politics/history. I’m excited to be here and get a grasp of the basics of professional journalism practices!
