Hello! My name is Eddie Landeros and I am the Club Advisor for The Talon. I am also the Marketing and Media Specialist for the Career Education department here at MSJC which involves taking photos, making videos and graphics and managing social media. I was a student at MSJC from 2018 to 2020 and transferred to California State University - Fullerton and earned my BA in Communications/Advertising. I love working with Dr. Weber and our Talon members because we learn from our experiences, get creative, and have a lot of fun. Hope you join us sometime!

Mia Rotell, Editor in Chief / President

Hi! My name is Mia Rotell and I am The Talon's Editor in Chief! I'm going on my last semester at MSJC and my third semester at The Talon. I'm extremely passionate about writing and storytelling which is why I love The Talon so much. I am currently enrolled in an online journalism class taught by journalism professors at New York University and editors at Rolling Stone Magazine. This summer I have been cultivating my writing, storytelling, research and interview skills under a mentorship. I'm currently a Journalism major and plan on getting my bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Communications at Colorado State University. My ultimate goal is to be a freelance investigative journalist. I plan to bring all the skills, tips, and tricks learned over the summer to uplift our student news outlet. Outside my articles, I like to read, write, do yoga, paint, travel, and collect old books.

Major: Geology Hello! My name is Pia Henson, this is my fourth semester with The Talon and my second year at MSJC as a Geology major. I’m most passionate about art, music, and environmental conservation. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, painting, reading a good book, collecting rocks, and my job as a princess performer!
