Hello everyone, my name is Alina Traverso! I’m a first year here at MSJC as a Communications major, and want to use my future Bachelor degree with the dream to one day become an author and also run a successful podcast. I have always been a writer, whether that be journaling my thoughts and feelings, or about subjects that pique my interest- music or movie reviews, self love and the journey of it, or world events! Writing has been a passion of mine since I was a child and my love for it has only grown over the years! What I hope to bring to the Talon (and the masses) is balance. I feel we tend to focus on the negative cycles of life, and while we can easily spot the bad, let’s not forget that there’s positivity in the world as well. In my spare time, when I’m not jotting everything down in my notebooks, I love studying astrology, listening to or creating music, and/or connecting with nature. I’m stoked to be a part of a community that’s eager to not only get our voices heard, but yours too!
