Mt. San Jacinto Community College has closed its physical doors because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, that does not mean they are down for the count yet. As of April 6, the school has completely converted to an online college, but the classes aren’t the only thing that have gone online.

MSJC’s recently updated website features many of the resources previously found on campus that can now be utilized through their website virtually. Things like Academic Counseling, Mental Health Services, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and much more can be found through MSJC’s new Support hub, available on the official MSJC website.

In addition, support services for students, including Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction, have also moved to the online world. Tutors can be accessed by students through their canvas shells and SI sessions are held via zoom for the classes they are assigned.

Many of MSJC’s clubs have also tried to keep their members active and stay alive through this pandemic by holding meetings and doing club activities through online services such as zoom or discord.

While some classes no longer meet in person, many classes and professors have decided to take on virtual classrooms through Conferzoom. In addition, many hold virtual office hours to provide extra support to their students during this transition and for the rest of the semester.

For more information on resources that have moved to the online platform, you can visit msjc.edu/hub.
