Stay still. You are not lost among the shrubs and trees next to you.
It’s called Here, Wherever You Are,
and you have to approach it like a formidable stranger.
To know it and to be known, one must ask permission.
The woods are alive. Observe. It responds,
I built this space with you in mind.
If you walk away from it, you may return and say, Here
Raven is not like any two trees.
For Wren, no two branches are alike.
You are lost for sure if you don’t understand what a tree or a bush is capable of.
Stay still. The forest is aware of where you are
It must come and find you.
