Major: Kinesiology
Hello ! My name is Destani Jordan My major is Kinesiology. Outside of being a full time student I am a full time caregiver. I care for adults with mental disabilities, from ages 18-59. I started my career life off as a preschool teacher up until Covid hit. Which then me I decided to become a caregiver. There I began caring for the elderly. I have found a great passion in caregiving. It’s more of a calling than a job for me! I cared for the elderly for 5 years. Now I am working at a group home for adults with mental disabilities. Besides school and working I am a entrepreneur. Specifically a recording artist, model and creative. God and music are absolutely my main passions. They give me more meaning and purpose! As far as hobbies I enjoy working out, creating/making my own wig units, beauty productions, accessories, clothes and much more for personal use as well as visual productions. I decided to take up journalism to help me become a better writer over all. Also because some where along the time line I plan to write a book about my life.
