Employment Concentration Certificate: Social Media Specialist (Certified January 25, 2022)

I have been with The Talon since January 2020; I did sports photography but shifted to Social Media Team early in the pandemic after MSJC went online. Since August 2020, I have been the Social Media Manager for Mt. San Jacinto College Student News The Talon. Aside from being the Social Media Manager for The Talon, I am also a Graphic Designer, and I assist with managing video content. This is my last year at the Talon because I will be transferring to UCLA to study History in Fall 2022.

I am a Sports Content Creator and Experienced Student Documentary Filmmaker with numerous awards. I am skilled in Archival Research, Historical Research, and Sports Videography & Photography.

I have been at MSJC for three years now, since August 2019. I have completed all the requirements for the AA-T in History, and I stayed one extra year before going to a four-year college to obtain the Social Media Specialist Employment Concentration. I am a certified Social Media Specialist since January 25, 2022.

I am passionate about sports, especially the stories of the athletes. I am a Student Worker for MSJC Athletics, and you might see me filming at the home games; I create social media content such as highlight videos and graphics.
