“Rivers that Flow and Flowers that Bloom” by Marley Begorre

Many have heard

Only few have truly felt

What it is to delve into the depths of what the mother provides

To feel all that lives in harmony entirely

As birds chirp and eggs crack

Through the barrier of new life and future experiences

Fresh pups nurse off the mother dog

Given nourishment and lessons of life through the flow of her milk

It spreads through the crisp whispers of spring air

It flows like rivers through forests and trees

Algae spreads amongst naked banks of land

Fungi rooting itself slowly amongst moss and precious soil

Dampened earth housing what crawls and what grows

Flowers bloom as the sun soaks their petals with warmth

What a joy it is

To experience the kinship of all that is living

As the life that flows through you

Ripples through nature and all its beings
