Hayden Dilts, Writer
My name is Hayden, I’m trying to become a journalist for sports, more specifically the NFL. I’ve wanted to be an analyst/journalist for them for a long time now. It started when I was 6 watching football instead of cartoons. I love the sport. I played 5 years of football and wish I continued. I ended up assistant coaching for a little flag league, reach playoffs and nearly making it out of there. That was the most fun I had doing anything in football since my last year of pop Warner tackle. After that, I didn’t like high school football, or the high school as a whole. I found the coaching after I stopped playing for the high school I went to. After that season, the team I was with was no more and the kids were new and rude. Not taking criticism and more or less taking me as a joke. I stopped showing up and later heard they ended up losing. To a point where they didn’t make playoffs and lost the rights to the name “the eagles.” After that, the head coach didn’t want to volunteer anymore and I never heard from them again. Years have gone by since I done anything that matters in football or sports. But I’m excited to get back in it with this program at MSJC! I’m a huge Seahawks fan, but more importantly a football fan at heart. Hoping to one day be officially apart of the NFl.
