Hello, my name is Benjamin Morales-Ibarra, and I’m a sophomore here at MSJC, majoring in journalism. I plan on transferring to San Diego State University This Fall to further my education and work within their football program as a Football equipment manager. I believe the average sports fan overlooks storytelling and journalism in sports, so focusing on sports writing and media is something I’m very passionate about and think can present different perspectives to fans. I’m also a former MSJC football player, playing two seasons for the Eagles in 2024 and 2025. I’m a devoted Christian, and some of my hobbies include spending time with my family, cooking, working out, being active, and watching sports.
