Drake Felde, Writer
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Hello, my name is Drake Felde(Founder of Watchmen Audits). I not only have an Associate’s degree in legal studies, but I am also a certified paralegal(Blackstone Paralegal Institute) who has filed briefs in the USSC and various district courts and other superior courts within California; I primarily specialized in civil rights complaints, eventually litigating successfully numerous 1983’s and habeas corpus petitions for disenfranchised men. I was a Law Librarian clerk for about 3 years. After MSJC, I plan to attend UMass Global to obtain a BA in legal studies and will open my own practice after taking the bar.
I have been a farmer since I was about 16 years old ~ key focus was “Permaculture”, herbal healing, and sustainable design. Around 18, I became a certified electrician’s helper with 23 marks on my certificate at SCROC, Southern California Regional Occupational Center.
From the Occult to the Mundane, I have a wide variety of knowledge. I have studied Buddhism, Taoism, and other lesser-known religions, and even controversial ones like Satanism, with the belief that in order to confront evil, one must look it face-to-face. I have always wanted to create earthships, plant holistic herbs, and apply permaculture concepts. Helping Plants, Animals, Insects, the soil, and healing people along the way was all I ever wanted to do. My inspirations were Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton in the “Greening the Desert” project.
In 2015, I ended up spending seven years in prison for defending myself in an altercation. My public defender had no time to defend my case, and I was told I would spend the rest of my life in prison if I didn’t take the deal. From there on out, I spent years on LEXISNEXIS and Westlaw studying the law and refining my legal skills. There is not one area of law that I do not have some personal experience with. Going forward I hope to draft my own petitions for law changes, and fund signature collectors for said law changes to the effect to encourage permaculture and enacting criminal justice reform.
